Adding Search to a Page in Shopsite

As you store gets bigger and you add more products it might be a good idea to introduce a way for your customers to search for what they are looking for. Thankfully Shopsite makes it easy to turn Search on and off for each of your store pages. Note however that the Search Feature needs to be included within the Page Template you are using in order for this to work.
Activating Search Within Shopsite Pages
Step #1: Logging into Shopsite
Before you can turn Search on within your store pages you need to be logged into the Shopsite web based interface. Depending on your hosting provider you will have been given access information in order to login. If you do NOT have this information, get it from you host.
Once you have logged into your Shopsite back office you will be presented with a screen just like the one displayed above.
Step #2: Turning Search On Within Your Store Pages
Click on the Pages button.
Select the page you want to ADD Search to.
Click the Edit Page Content button.
Check the Check here to add a product search field to your page button.
Step #3: Saving Your Changes
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button.
