The Shopsite Pro shopping cart allows for you to sell and provide real-time access to digital products once they have been purchased through the shopping cart. Since digital products are setup through the same 'product' interface as physical products it is important that you indicate whether or not the product is digital or tangible.
Making a Product Digitial in Shopsite
Step #1: Logging into Shopsite
Before you can setup digital products in Shopsite you need to first be logged into its web based interface. Depending on your hosting provider you will have been given access information in order to login. If you do NOT have this information, get it from you host.
Once you have logged into your Shopsite back office you will be presented with a screen just like the one displayed above.
Step #2: Making a Product Digital in Shopsite
Click on the Products button.
Select the product you want to make digital.
Click the Edit Product Info button.
Scroll till you reach the Shipping and Download Information section.
In the Product Type dropdown select the Download option.
Step #3: Saving Your Changes
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button.
