The Shopsite shopping cart gives you the opportunity to calculate real-time shipping rates with both UPS and FedEx. Both of these shipping companies calculate the cost off shipping based on the product's dimensions, weight and end destination.
Setting up Product Weights in Shopsite
Step #1: Logging into Shopsite
Before you can setup product weights in Shopsite you need to first be logged into its web based interface. Depending on your hosting provider you will have been given access information in order to login. If you do NOT have this information, get it from you host.
Once you have logged into your Shopsite back office you will be presented with a screen just like the one displayed above.
Step #2: Configuring a Product's Weight in Shopsite
Click on the Products button.
Select the product you want to configure the weight for.
Click the Edit Product Info button.
Scroll till you reach the Shipping and Download Information section.
Enter in the product's weight in pounds in the Weight field.
Step #3: Saving Your Changes
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button.
