Shopsite 8.1 introduces the ability to offer and accept payments through Google Checkout. By activating Google Checkout within Shopsite you will be giving your customers one more practical way for them to pay for your goods and services! Don't forget to set your Google Checkout account up with Google first!
Shopsite's Google Checkout
Step #1: Logging into Shopsite
Before you can activate Google Checkout within Shopsite you need to first be logged into its web based interface. Depending on your hosting provider you will have been given access information in order to login. If you do NOT have this information, get it from you host.
Once you have logged into your Shopsite back office you will be presented with a screen just like the one displayed above.
Step #2: Activating Google Checkout in Shopsite
Click on the Commerce Setup button.
Click on the Payment button.
Check the 'Google Checkout' check box.
Click the Configure button.
Enter the requested information from your Google Checkout welcome email.
Step #3: Saving Your Changes
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button.
