Coupons can either be setup for 'one time' use or 'ulimited' use within the Shopsite shopping cart. One time use can prove to be quite effective when you want to incent perspective or existing customers into buying from your on-line store. An additional sense of urgency can be passed along to the customer by setting an expiry date for your coupons.
Single Use Coupons in Shopsite
Step #1: Logging into Shopsite
Before you can set your coupons up for single use in Shopsite you need to first be logged into its web based interface. Depending on your hosting provider you will have been given access information in order to login. If you do NOT have this information, get it from you host.
Once you have logged into your Shopsite back office you will be presented with a screen just like the one displayed above.
Step #2: Setting Up a Single Use Coupon
Click on the Merchandising button.
Click on the Coupons button.
Select the coupon you want to set up for single use.
Click the Edit button.
Select the Yes option under One Time Use
Step #3: Saving Your Changes
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button.
