Depending on the custom template you choose to work with in your Shopsite store you might be left using text based links as buy buttons instead of graphics. Text links have their place however graphic based buy buttons draw the eye faster and have a much better chance of being clicked on. Since the purpose of most eCommerce sites is for customers to buy then it is a good idea to make this action as easy and too the point as possible.
Text Buy Links to Graphics in Shopsite
Step #1: Logging into Shopsite
Before you can change your text based buy buttons to graphics in Shopsite you need to first be logged into its web based interface. Depending on your hosting provider you will have been given access information in order to login. If you do NOT have this information, get it from you host.
Once you have logged into your Shopsite back office you will be presented with a screen just like the one displayed above.
Step #2: Changing Text Based Buy Buttons to Graphics
Click on the Preferences button.
Click on the Store Text button.
Click on the Store Pages button.
Select the Image radio button.
Click the Select button.
Select your Add to Cart image that you want to use.
Click the Select Image button.
Step #3: Saving Your Changes
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button.
