Setting Up a Store Home Page in Shopsite

Setting an INDEX.HTML File Name in Shopsite
Step #1: Logging into Shopsite

Before you can set the file name of your store's home page to 'index.html' in Shopsite you need to first be logged into its web based interface. Depending on your hosting provider you will have been given access information in order to login. If you do NOT have this information, get it from you host.

Once you have logged into your Shopsite back office you will be presented with a screen just like the one displayed above.

Step #2: Adding the File Name 'index.html' to Your Store Homepage

Click on the Pages button.

Select your store Home Page.

Click the Edit Page Content button.

Scroll till you reach the Advanced Info section of the page.

Type in the page name of - index.html - in the File name field.

Step #3: Saving Your Changes

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button.

This concludes our tutorial on how to setup your Shopsite store's home page file name.
