Every now and then you might want to advertise FREE shipping to help improve sales through your eCommerce store. Some products might cost too much to ship for free and others might work out just fine. Thankfully the Shopsite shopping cart allows for you to configure Free Shipping on a product-by-product basis.
Shopsite Free Shipping by Product
Step #1: Logging into Shopsite
Before you can set products up in Shopsite to have free shipping you need to first be logged into its web based interface. Depending on your hosting provider you will have been given access information in order to login. If you do NOT have this information, get it from you host.
Once you have logged into your Shopsite back office you will be presented with a screen just like the one displayed above.
Step #2: Setting up Free Shipping on a Product-by-Product Basis
Click on the Products button.
Select the Product you want to assign FREE shipping to.
Click the Edit Product Info button.
Scroll till you reach the Shipping and Download Information section.
Check the 'Check here to NOT apply shipping charges on this product' check box.
Step #3: Saving Your Changes
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button.
