Once you start getting sales through your Shopsite store wouldn't it be nice to know where they came from. Easiest way to find out is by asking! Simply use one of the fields within the Shopsite shopping cart that is passed along to the emailed receipt that both you and your customer will receive. Personally I would recommend using the Comments / More Information field found on the Checkout screen of the Shopsite shopping cart.

How Did You Hear About Us?
Step #1: Logging into Shopsite

Before you can setup a 'How did you hear about us?' box within Shopsite you need to first be logged into its web based interface. Depending on your hosting provider you will have been given access information in order to login. If you do NOT have this information, get it from you host.



Once you have logged into your Shopsite back office you will be presented with a screen just like the one displayed above.

Step #2: Renaming a Shopsite Checkout Field

Click on the Preferences button.



Click on the Store Text button.



Click on the Checkout button.



Locate the Comments / More Information section.



Replace the text with 'How did you hear about us?'



Step #3: Saving Your Changes

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save Changes button.
