Step #1: Logging into Shopsite

Before you can setup Affiliates within Shopsite you have to first be logged into its web based interface. Depending on your hosting provider you will have been given access information in order to login. If you do NOT have this information, get it from you host.



Once you have logged into your Shopsite back office you will be presented with a screen just like the one displayed above.

Step #2: Accessing Shopsite's Merchandising Section

Click on the Merchandising button.



Step #3: Setting up Affiliates in Shopsite

Click on the Associates button.



Click on the Add an Associate button.



Enter the Affiliate's Name.



Enter the Affiliate's Email.

Important Note:

This email will be used to notify the affiliate of a successful sale that they referred to your store.



Setup your affiliate's commission. This can either be done as a FLAT dollar amount or a percentage of the total order.



Specify the page you want your affiliate's referrals to land on when they first come to your site.



Step #4: Creating Your Affiliate and Their Link

Click on the Create Link To Store button.



Copy the Shopsite generated code and give it to your affiliate so they can integrate it into their web site for promotion of your products and services.



Click the Save Changes button.
