Step #1: Logging into Shopsite
Before you can configure UPS shipping within Shopsite you have to first be logged into its web based interface. Depending on your hosting provider you will have been given access information in order to login. If you do NOT have this information, get it from you host.

Once you have logged into your Shopsite back office you will be presented with a screen just like the one displayed above.
Step #2: Accessing Shopsite's Available Shipping Methods
Click on the Commerce Setup button.

Click on the Shipping button.

Check the UPS check box and click the Configure UPS button.

Step #3: Setting up a UPS Account
Read and understand the four (4) steps and click the Next button.

Read the UPS License Agreement and click the Accept / Agree button to continue.

Complete all of the required fields and click on the Next Step button. Required Fields headings are marked by a red asterisk * symbol.

Choose a UPS User ID and Password. Once done click on the Submit to UPS button.

Confirm that the information is correct and click the OK button. Before you continue it is recommended that you print this page.

Step #4: Choosing Your UPS Shipping Methods
Choose the UPS shipping services that you wish to make available to your clients.

Step #5: Defining Your Primary UPS Delivery Type
Will the majority of your orders be shipped to a 'residential' or 'commercial' address. Choose which option applies to your business.

Step #6: Defining Your UPS Pick-up Times
You can choose to have UPS come by to pick-up your packages or you can drop them off at a UPS shipping counter. Select the option that best suits your specific needs and schedule.
Step #7: Using UPS Address Validation ServiceUPS makes it possible to validate customer-shipping addresses (US Only). To activate, simply check the check box.

Step #8: Defining Shipment Weight Minimums and Maximums
Enter in your order's potential maximum and minimum weights into the provided fields.

Step #9: Saving UPS Settings
Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on the Save button to save your UPS settings.

Step #10: Saving Your Shipping Settings
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Save Changes button to save your Shipping Settings.
