Uploading a Shopsite Page Database

Shopsite Page Database Upload
Step #1: Logging into Shopsite

Before you can upload your Shopsite Page Database into the Shopsite shopping cart you have to first be logged into its web based interface. Depending on your hosting provider you will have been given access information in order to login. If you do NOT have this information, get it from you host.

Once you have logged into your Shopsite back office you will be presented with a screen just like the one displayed above.

Step #2: Accessing Shopsite's Databases

Click on the Utilities button.

Click on the Database button.

Step #3: Uploading Your Shopsite Page Database

Click the Upload / Download button.

Check the Pages Radio button and click the Upload button.

Click the Browse button.

Find your page database file on your computer, select it and click the Open button.

Select the appropriate separator between each of your page database's columns of data. Typically this is 'Tab Delimited' or a 'Comma Separated File - CSV).

Click the Proceed button.

Leave the defaults selected and click the Upload File button.

Success! Your Pages have been successfully uploaded into the Shopsite back-office.

This concludes our tutorial on how to Upload a Page Database into Shopsite.
