Maintaining a good level of security within your Shopsite back office can be had by updating your password on a regular basis. It is recommended that you change you password once every six months or whenever someone outside of your company has been granted access.
Shopsite Back Office Password
Step #1: Logging into Shopsite
Before you can change your Shopsite back office password you have to first be logged into its web based interface. Depending on your hosting provider you will have been given access information in order to login. If you do NOT have this information, get it from you host.
Once you have logged into your Shopsite back office you will be presented with a screen just like the one displayed above.
Step #2: Changing Shopsite's Back Office Password
Click on the Utilities button.
Click on the Change Password button.
Enter your OLD password.
Enter and confirm your NEW password.
Step #3: Saving Your Changes
Click on the Change Password button.
Important Note:
Don't panic if you forget your Shopsite back office password. Typically you can ask you hosting company to reset and provide it to you!
