When uploading images into your Shopsite back office it is recommended that you name your images with a friendly combination of letters and symbols that are separated by either a hyphen '-' or underscore '_' in place of spaces. Spaces should be avoided because they will result in messier HTML code which can affect your site's placement within the search engines.
In theory Shopsite does support all types of files, i.e. sounds, images, java, etc, however you may need to have your hosting provider configure your account to support them within Shopsite.
If you are planning on uploading anything other than just images to Shopsite and it doesn't work, this could be a result of the way your hosting account has been configured. Simply contact your host to get this resolved.
Alternate Way of Uploading Files (Images)The Shopsite back office image upload feature is convenient for uploading limited quantities of files. If you plan on uploading a fair amount of Multimedia based content then I would recommend that you use an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program.
If you do not know how to work with an FTP program simply search for "FTP Tutorial" on Google to get the necessary information.
