Once you have added all of your site's main store pages it is time to start assigning any sub-category pages that might exist. Having sub-categories within your online store will help limit the number of products that appear and make your customer's shopping experience a much easier one!
Getting Started
Step #1: Logging into Shopsite
Before you can start creating sub-category pages in Shopsite you have to first be logged into its web based interface. Depending on your hosting provider you will have been given access information in order to login. If you do NOT have this information, get it from you host.
Once you have logged into your Shopsite back office you will be presented with a screen just like the one displayed above.
Step #2: Accessing the Page’s Section
Click on the PAGES button.
Step #3: Selecting the Page to Assign Sub Category Pages
Select the page you wish to add sub-categories to and click the Assign Items button.
Step #4: Choosing the Type of Item to Assign
Select the PAGE option and click on the PROCEED button.
Step #5: Assigning the Sub Category Pages to the Page
Select the pages you want to appear as sub category pages and click the Add button.
Step #6: Saving Your Changes
Now that your sub category pages have been assigned to your page it is time to save your changes. This is done by clicking on the Save Changes button.
