» Shopsite Coupons for Selected Products
By Kyle Rodeck | Published 11/20/2006 | Shopsite Merchandising | Rating:
Shopsite makes it easy to configure coupons to be redeemed only for specific products found within your on-line store. This can prove to be especially useful when you are trying to promote a new line of products or wish to liquidate old stock. In the event that you store carries some break-even products it might be wise to NOT include them in the list of products that the coupon can be used with.
» Setting up a Shopsite Coupon for One Time Use
By Kyle Rodeck | Published 09/18/2006 | Shopsite Merchandising | Rating:
Coupons can either be setup for 'one time' use or 'ulimited' use within the Shopsite shopping cart. One time use can prove to be quite effective when you want to incent perspective or existing customers into buying from your on-line store. An additional sense of urgency can be passed along to the customer by setting an expiry date for your coupons.
» Accessing Include Files in Shopsite (HEADER / FOOTER)
By Kyle Rodeck | Published 08/12/2006 | Shopsite Merchandising | Unrated
Some Shopsite developers use HEADER and FOOTER includes to control the look-and-feel of store pages from within the Shopsite shopping cart. This allows for quick update of the store's look-and-feel from one location. Simply copy and paste the HEADER and FOOTER code into a HTML editor, make your changes, paste it back and rebuild your store!
» Turning on Shopsite's Tell a Friend Feature
By Kyle Rodeck | Published 08/4/2006 | Shopsite Merchandising | Unrated
Wouldn't it be nice to set it up so that people browsing through your site could let their friends know about a product they think might be of interest. With a click of a button or text link Shopsite's Tell a Friend feature would take care of the rest. The 'friend' would receive an email from the person who sent it along with a link to the product they were looking at.
» Creating Easy to Remember Coupon Codes in Shopsite
By Kyle Rodeck | Published 07/27/2006 | Shopsite Merchandising | Unrated
By default when you setup a coupon within the Shopsite shopping cart  it automatically assigns it a numerical value. Since your customers will have an easier time remembering a coupon code like "SAVE10" instead of "123587612" it is recommended to set your store's coupons up to use an Alternate Coupon Code.
