» Adding a How Did You Find us Box to Shopsite
By Kyle Rodeck | Published 10/17/2006 | Shopsite Preferences | Rating:
Once you start getting sales through your Shopsite store wouldn't it be nice to know where they came from. Easiest way to find out is by asking! Simply use one of the fields within the Shopsite shopping cart that is passed along to the emailed receipt that both you and your customer will receive. Personally I would recommend using the Comments / More Information field found on the Checkout screen of the Shopsite shopping cart.
» Shopsite Secure Image Path
By Kyle Rodeck | Published 10/4/2006 | Shopsite Preferences | Rating:
Your Shopsite store comes with three (3) secure pages. They include the Checkout, Confirmation and Thank You store sections that are made available to your customer once they have added a product to their basket and begin the checkout process. In the event that you want to add a graphic to any one of these pages you will need to do so with a secure URL. If you don't, the page will load with warnings which will most likely result in a loss of the sale.
» Shopsite's Alternate Currency (Display Only)
By Kyle Rodeck | Published 07/25/2006 | Shopsite Preferences | Unrated
The Shopsite shopping cart can be setup to display an alternate currency type for your customers. This proves especially useful for merchants dealing with customers outside of their country. Note however that Shopsite's alternate currency is for 'display-only'. This means that your primary currency type is what will be used when customers add products to the shopping cart.
